High Performance Center of Chess in Aguascalientes

One of the goals the State Government pursues through the Aguascalientes Sport Institute (IDEA), is to carry actions directed to a social benefit, one of the main strategies is the “Chess for Aguascalientes” project. Sports are a basic element for this purpose, and Chess is a pedagogical tool that promotes the growth of mental capabilities which contributes positively the academic performance favoring the maturity and integral development of the children and young ones, by which, was created the High Performance Center of Chess in Aguascalientes. In this extent, Aguascalientes chess players can be prepared, whom will represent our city in National and International events. CADAA, located inside the Railroad Sport Center will count with high technology computer equipment for the software execution specialized in chess: Chess Base, Fritz Convekta programs, etc. Players will be able to play online through the websites dedicated to such event with the purpose of training and preparation. This Center will be in charge of Chess Professionals, and its mission is to offer the participants the best technical preparation to reach outstanding sports results for the State. The players involved in the CADAA will undergo through a selection process which will be done by technicians and IDEA authorities, they’ll include a personalized training program and will be able to make use of the facilities as needed for its optimal development. Juniors and Teens from 8 to 20 years, and Adults classified under a high score will be able to participate in the chess contest.
